Sixty teams gathered for event number eight of The 2009 Potomac River Bass Series. These talented anglers have been producing amazing catches all year and they continued to impress us on this nice July day. Let's recap how the day went...

Congratulations to Anthony Clark and his super sub for the day, Lenny Rabbitt, for their great victory. Anthony and Lenny posted a beautiful 21.56 pound 5 Bass limit and they won a nice $2,000.00 for their superb effort. Way to go, Lenny and Anthony and your exuberance over your victory was very refreshing and really added a nice touch to the post weigh-in an awards proceedings!!! Great job, guys!!!

Todd Schaaf and Mike Huminik were consistent as always and finished a strong second with a solid 5 Bass limit that weighed 20.70 pounds. Todd and Mike won $1,100.00 for their great effort. Great job, Todd and Mike!!!

Gene Hord and Gary Trainum had the Lunker of the day, a beautiful 6.45 pound Bass that anchored their 8th place catch and an they won a total of $820.00 for their great effort. Way to go, Gene and Grary!!!

Robert Fincham and Doug Grubbs won The $50.00 Ray Emery Achieve Consulting Sponsorship Award for being just out of the official money. Thank you Ray and congratulations Robert and Doug.
